Ikuo Yamamoto
Professor
Nagasaki University Graduate School of Engineering
Japan
Ikuo Yamamoto(Biography)
Ikuo Yamamoto is a Professor of Nagasaki University, Japanand has developed many world-class practical examples of robotics and mechatronics during his 30 years of experience as an engineer and a professor. His experience comprises of working with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. , JAMSTEC , and as Professor at Kyushu, Kitakyushu, and Nagasaki University .He was leader of AUV “Urashimaâ€, which established the world record for autonomous cruising; developed “Kaiko&Seabotâ€, which was crowned champion remotely operated vehicle at 10000m depth cruising and at the World convention 2012,2014,2016 and his robotic fish ‘swam’ in the International Space Station in 2009.He firstly sucessfully flied multi-rotor flight robotics with real-time monitoring and environmental sensor systems in Japan,2008. International Awards for developing medical robotics in 2014 and 2015.He is nominated as GlobalScot,Scotland Government,UK in 2017. Most of the robotics and mechatronics developed continue to be used safely in real-world environments.

A D Rao
Professor
Indian Institute of Technology
India
A D Rao(Biography)
Dr A.D. Rao received his M. Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Andhra University in 1978 and Ph.D. degree in 1982 from IIT Delhi for his doctoral work on Numerical Storm Surge Prediction in India. Dr Rao joined the faculty of IIT Delhi in 1982. Dr A.D. Rao is at present holding a professor position since 2002 at CAS, IIT Delhi. His research interests include development of numerical models for storm surges, internal waves, ocean state forecast, airsea interaction processes. His contribution to the surge prediction system is very significant as the inland intrusion of surge waters is the main cause for extensive damage along the Indian coasts. He has published more than 190 papers in various national and international journals.

Anita Lewandowska
Professor
University of Gdansk
Poland
Anita Lewandowska(Biography)
Anita Lewandowska is Professor in the Marine Chemistry and Environment Protection Department, Faculty of Oceanography and Geography, the University of Gdansk. She received M.S. in 1994 and Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences in 1999, both from the University of Gdansk. In 2012 she obtained a postdoctoral degree at the University of Gdansk and in 2013 she became an Associate Professor at the same university. Her primary research interests are in the field of atmospheric chemistry and oceanography with the special focus on processes of aerosol and gases exchange between the sea and the atmosphere under the influence of abiotic and biotic factors in the coastal regions of the sea. She is interested mainly in issues related to the Baltic Sea and Antarctica. Anita Lewandowska is a member of the Sea Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She is author and co-author of dozens of scientific publications in the field of atmospheric chemistry and co-author of the book Aerosols and Gases in Earth's Atmosphere - Global Changes and a Practical Guide for Students Aerosols and Gases.
